CommentLuv Coming To iBlogPlanet Soon!
I just thought it would be best to notify everyone, so you aren’t confused when commenting on my blog within the next few days. As you’ve probably noticed, CommentLuv is showing under the comment box, but unfortunately, you’ve probably also noticed that it deos not work properly. As far as I know, when the user types the first keystroke in the comment box, it should automatically fetch their last post. For some reason, this is not the case on iBlogPlanet. I’ve sent a ticket to the support team at CommentLuv, and hope to get this issue resolved as soon as possible, so we can start spreading the love!

Now, while I’m at it, I might as well try — if anyone has had a similar problem in the past, or simply knows how to solve this, don’t be shy to let me know!

Hey Gooroo I really love your theme. Do you have any observations I should know about before acquiring it? Thanks, Asswass

Asswass,
It is a great theme. I haven’t had any trouble with it. I bought it from ThemeForest BTW. The only downside is that the author hasn’t been replying to support questions on the page for the theme. I didn’t run into any problems, so I haven’t needed his help.

Gooroo can you remove the right sidebar from the theme? I like my blog with only one right sidebar.

Unfortunately, there is no option to remove any of the sidebars. You would have to do that manually, which would be quite a hassle.

Well let me see if I can talk to the author. Thanks Gooroo.

Sure, let me know if you get a response. I’m curious as for how to remove sidebars. I kind of want to get rid of the left one.

Keith,
Commentluv is a great way to increase activity on your blog. If you decide to install it, hopefully the process goes more smoothly for you. I’m having quite a bit of trouble with it.

Hi Gooroo,
CommentLuv is my all time favorite plugin. I love how it gives my readers/commenters some love in return for sharing their thoughts.

I notice that commentluv has actually disapeared now
If you need a hand with it or anything gimmie a shout – I did have a few problems with it myself back when installing it.

Dan,
I took it off completely, since it wasn’t working, haha!
I did receive a response from the CommentLuv support team. I’ll make a post about what they said shortly, so keep an eye out.

For some reason I tend to love a site with CommentLuv a bit more. Especially if CommentLuv also is dofollow. Personaly I don’t use dofollow simply because a domain can change. Even if you accept all of your comments manually a domain can change a year after you accepted the comment, resulting in your site linking to who knows.
The Gooroo
August 22, 2009 at 7:36 pm
That’s a good point Stefan — and generally speaking, you never know who may acquire the domain. Domains are always being bought and sold. I understand what you mean.
I really want to CommentLuv here at iBlogPlanet, so I’m going to keep working at it!
